Welcome to the Miller's Scout group!

Scouts are the fourth section in the scouting family and is for boys and girls aged 10-14. It comes after cubs and before Explorers.

​

Being a Scout is all about discovering the world on your own terms and making the most of what you have, wherever and whoever you are.

Alongside your new friends, you’ll master the skills that will help you weather the storms of life, and try things you’d never get the chance to do at home or at school - working with trained volunteers to achieve whatever you set your mind to.

Scouting offers enjoyable challenges and adventures both indoors and outdoors. During your time in scouts you will learn a variety of skills and techniques for different activities. Skills such as: Orienteering, knotting, bushcraft, and cooking. 

​

We also take part in a range of district led activities such as camps, day trips and events. Leaders will update you on all activities, and they will also appear on this website.

 

Stambermill Scouts Troop meet up at 7:30pm on a Tuesday night at the Stambermill Headquarters and normally finish around 9:00pm.
